PHS Community Services Society

Boldt works with a remarkable group of people at PHS committed to providing homes, health care and community services for vulnerable people, including those living with mental health and addiction issues. In the midst of the opioid overdose crisis, the PHS team is changing lives every day - with love, compassion, dedication and generosity of spirit. We’re proud to work with them.


Yunesit'in

The Yunesit’in - one of six communities that make up the Tsilhqot’in National Government - is working with the Xeni Gwet’in to create a Dasiqox Tribal Park, a new way of managing land based on the three pillars of environmental sustainability, economic development and cultural revitalization.


Urban Native Youth Association

UNYA’s vision for the Native Youth Centre is for an expanded 50,000 square foot Indigenous youth hub, with a range of services that will include a health and wellness centre, up to 220 units of affordable rental housing, and programming space to meet a range of youth needs. The NYC will deliver accessible, culturally responsive and prevention focused programs that support the well-being of Indigenous children, youth and families.


Catalyst

Catalyst is a BC-based not-for-profit real estate developer that builds vibrant, affordable and inspiring rental homes and places for people to live and work in. Catalyst works with non-profits to unlock the value of their real estate assets, and reinvest that value back into our communities. Boldt is proud to be working with them to share their model and how it can help address BC’s ongoing rental housing shortage


Kettle Boffo Project

We’re working with co-developers Boffo Properties to communicate with the community on their proposal to build a mixed-use development at Commercial and Venables that will renew the Kettle Society’s drop-in centre and create 30 units of supportive housing for community members with mental illness, along with up to 200 units of market housing and small-format retail. We’re proud to be working with the team on this inclusive community project.


Vancouver Farmers Markets

Boldt works with Vancouver Farmers Markets to help them achieve their strategic goals and communicate their incredible impact on our communities and local food economy. And…we love their heirloom tomatoes, which is why we’re also a VFM market member! Join here: http://eatlocal.org/membership/.


BC Diabetes

Boldt works with BC Diabetes to help more people – including diabetes patients and medical professionals - get the treatment they need for diabetes.


Climate Smart

Boldt works with Climate Smart to share the good news about how reducing a business’ carbon emissions also improves efficiency, and can save small and medium-sized businesses big money. We work with Climate Smart on media outreach, promotion of their programs, and communications strategies for their new ideas and initiatives.


BC Libraries Cooperative

Boldt works with the BC Libraries Cooperative – a community enterprise that shares library expertise and resources with library systems and networks across Canada – to help them get their message out, and communicate with their current and prospective members. As long-time fans of libraries (and avid library users), we couldn’t be more pleased to help support community libraries.


Reconciliation Canada

We're proud to be part of a movement for meaningful change and progress in moving beyond the tragic legacy of Indian residential schools. Reconciliation Canada is finding a new way forward in the relationship between Aboriginal people and all Canadians, and we are proud to walk with them. Boldt is providing communications, media and public relations support to Reconciliation Canada in the lead up to September 2013's Week of Reconciliation (September 16 to 22).

Physiotherapy Association of BC

Boldt loves working with the team at the Physiotherapy Association of BC (PABC), BC's professional association for physiotherapists. Boldt collaborates with PABC to support all of their marketing communications needs, including communicating with PABC's over 3000 members in BC, and keeping the medical community (and the general public) informed on how physiotherapy is keeping British Columbians moving for life.


Canopy

Boldt began working with Vancouver-based Canopy in 2012. Canopy works with the forest industry's biggest customers to protect the world's forests, species and climate. Their innovative approach focuses on working with book publishers, newspapers, clothing manufacturers and more to source viable, affordable and sustainable alternatives to old-growth forest-based materials. We love working with the Canopy team and are proud to be able to help them tell their story.


Central 1 Credit Union

Boldt began working with Central 1 to promote their Be Remarkable program, an integrated marketing communications program designed to reach a younger demographic (18—29 year olds) in need of financing and financial advice from BC’s credit unions. We helped profile their Remarkable Micro-loan program in local and trade media, and helped them create social media buzz for their Pocketbook Rehab contest. And more recently, we were on hand to create social media buzz for the launch of their mobile cheque deposit service, Deposit Anywhere, and executed media relations for a major nationwide media stunt to promote their ding free from sea to sea campaign in April 2013.


Fairware

Boldt worked with this hip, fast-growing Vancouver company – which creates promotional solutions for sustainable brands – to create inspiring messages their team can use to tell their story with a rapidly growing market for their sustainable and ethically sourced promotional products and custom creations.


Natural Balance Premium Home Builders

Boldt first worked with “the next generation of homebuilders” in 2011 to help them develop a marketing and communications plan that would help them tell their story about their role in the architectural home building industry – and in their community – with a much broader audience. We then assembled a team of specialists – including communications ace Wendy Underwood – that updated their brand look, created a fresh new website that features their stunning work, and got them noticed in regional and national media. Our collaboration with the team at Natural Balance continues with our support on the development of a corporate video and other marketing materials. We’re proud to be part of their journey.


Rennie Marketing Systems

Boldt has collaborated with Rennie Marketing Systems (RMS) on public and media relations to support its marketing program for the condominiums at Village on False Creek (also known as the Olympic Village) in Vancouver since 2010, as they navigated myriad public, brand and media issues for the project. The waterfront project has emerged as a Vancouver success story, with strong condominium sales and a thriving brand image. We've collaborated with Rennie on other projects too, like MC2 and the Rennie Collection. We love working with the delightful Bob Rennie, and being part of the RMS family.

Boldt also provides communications and media relations support to the Rennie Collection.


Vancity Credit Union

Boldt has worked with Vancity Credit Union on a range of internal and external communications projects since 2001, including everything from web writing to annual report project management, marketing copy writing, executive speechwriting, content for the Vancity Careers recruitment microsite, and strategic advice on media relations, and employee communications and awareness projects. Vancity is like Lesli’s Cheers – everyone knows her name, and they’re always glad she came. We love being part of the Vancity family.


Community Action Initiative

We worked with the Community Action Initiative (CAI) on a marketing communications plan to get their message – and awareness of funding available for collaborative community mental health and substance use prevention projects – to a much broader audience. We also worked with them to implement this plan – which included an updated and redesigned website by Ballistic Arts Media Studios, a marketing brochure, training and facilitation at a knowledge exchange event, and execution of a major news conference that included a BC government minister.


David Suzuki Foundation

Boldt worked with the David Suzuki Foundation on strategic communications projects to help them tell their compelling stories about solutions to local, regional and global environmental issues. Our has work included strategic communications on the Black Out Speak Out campaign, and media relations for the David Suzuki Institute on David Suzuki's national book tour with former chief CIBC economist Jeff Rubin, author of The End of Growth.


City of Vancouver

Boldt worked with the City of Vancouver’s Drug Policy Program in 2003 and 2004 to support effective and ongoing communications around the Four Pillars Drugs Strategy. Working with Corporate Communications, we helped the program develop a microsite for newsletters and updates, and worked with Vancouver Coastal Health, the Vancouver Agreement and other stakeholders on collaborative communications and media relations projects, including the opening of the supervised injection site in Vancouver (now called Insite). Boldt also developed a strategic communications plan for the Social Planning department in 2007. Lesli was an in-house consultant with the City of Vancouver between 2008 and 2010 to manage the City's 2010 Winter Games-related communications.


University of British Columbia

Boldt has worked with two organizations at UBC: the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre and the UBC Learning Exchange – to help them achieve their strategic communications objectives. We worked with the management team to create a strategic communications plan for the Barber Learning Centre. For UBC Learning Exchange, we created a strategic web communications plan – including message development – and worked with our friends at DesignStamp on a redesign of the information architecture, design and functionality of their website. Lesli didn’t go to UBC, so each time she works with them, she feels like she’s getting her second chance (and makes sure to get a cookie and coffee at the SUB).


Terra Breads

Terra Breads already has a great story that anyone that's tried their artisan breads, pastries and cookies, and famous granola and crisps already knows about. We're helping Terra Breads to tell their delicious story to an even broader audience. Lesli's love of Terra Breads' almond macaroons has been a key factor in the strong sales of the product (or so she's been led to believe).
